UMMM WHAT THE HELL DID I JUST READ.

I mean, in a good way.

So...okay. I thought I knew what was going to happen in the end, but I was very, very wrong, and it was even more subtle yet unsettling than my forecast.

What I really loved about this novel - besides just being such a strange and unique story, with twisted but believable characters and sparse writing depicting relatable scenes - is how each of the three parts bled together. We never get to hop into the head of the vegetarian herself, but we do get to see her story unfold through the eyes of those around her - people who are just as scared and dumbfounded as the reader.

Very cool, and super insidious story. This one will be haunting me, that's fo sho.
